Requirements:

A relevant three (3) year tertiary qualification in digital design/graphic design/graphic communication or related field.
Five (5) years appropriate experience as a UX Designer in a marketing environment or in a web team in a marketing environment.
Knowledge of the following: Web design processes; Marketing processes; UI/UX principles and methods; Technology trends and roles;
Must possesses the following skills: Digital design skills; HTML; Adobe Creative Suite software; Time management; Innovative; Good communication and organising skills; Attention to detail.
Must have a valid driver’s licence

Functions:

Analyse user data to draw up a matrix to generate design ideas for all online channels and to guide functionality and design to determine if a design/development will be effective/efficient.
Write requirements/specifications for IT/developers to understand all system rules needed to implement designs for marketing digital channels.
Conduct preliminary investigations on issues and problems during testing and make necessary improvements.
Monitor the implementation of new/updated digital platforms.
Update all digital visual content on existing digital channels.
Assist UI designer.
Keep record of all artwork, processes, specifications, reports and other relevant documentation with regards to digital marketing and designs.
Liaise with developers and give feedback
Be able to conduct testing on digital channels to ensure that development environments and production environments meet user expectations
