a well known Metal Fabrication Company in Pretoria is looking to employ a skillful Metal Fabricator that can weld with CO2 Tig, Mig & MMA, can read drawings, build simple jigs and that can join their dynamic team of experts urgently!!!

Position : Metal fabricator.
Location: Pretoria
Salary: R24 000 - R30 000 per month Gross

Requirements:
• Must be able to work with flat bar, various tubing, sheet metal, expanded metal, round bar and other materials.
• Must be able to be creative with metal.
• Must be able to roll flat bar and tubing ( square, rectangular and round) to accurate dimensions.
• Must be able to read drawings.
• Must be able to make plans to accomplish different angles and shapes.
• Must have experience of building simple jigs in order to be able to manufacture fabricated products.
• Must have a good eye, and be able to work square and accurately.
• Must be able to weld with CO2 Tig, Mig, and MMA ( stick welding. Both steel and stainless steel.)
• Person must be a driven worker with an affinity for hard work and be proud of his work. • The person must be an organised worker.
• Must be able to work with hand tools such as grinders, drills, and saws.
• Must be good with accuracy and measurements.
It is imperative that the person be able to meet targets and once work have been allocated to him. He must be able to accomplish his targets with the minimum supervision. It must be noted that this is a production environment where a variety of products are built on a daily basis. The person must understand that this is a high throughput environment and the products being manufactured must be right first time in terms of accuracy and quality. All work is light fabrication and any product can be built by one person at a time.
