SUMMARY:
UNIT MANAGER - DAY THEATRE

POSITION INFO:

Day Theatre Unit Manager

Degree or Diploma in nursing
Post basic qualification in Operating Room Nursing - compulsory
Current registration with SANC
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Theatre
Proven leadership and people management skills would be an advantage
Basic understanding of labour legislation, financial and chain management principles
Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage
Computer proficiency
Driver’s license and ability to travel

Critical outputs include but is not limited to:

Effective clinical leadership
Effective leadership and people management
Effective financial management (including equipment)
Effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders
