POSITION INFO:
Area of Specialization:
• Execute electrical maintenance tasks on assigned components which entails dismantling, inspection, refurbishment and reassembly,
• Comply to all safety standards and regulations including but limited to permit to work system, use of PPEs, working at heights and covid-19,
• Manage spares and consumables allocated to assigned work
• Correct interpretation of work orders and related spares requirements, tooling requirements and quality requirements,
• Manage own time and resources to meet task goals of cost, quality and time,
Minimum Requirements:
• Trade Test Certificate in Electrical
• Additional Electrical Qualifications would be an added advantage
• Additional Project Management training such as planning, scheduling, safety and quality control will be an advantage
Experience:
• 5 Years post trade test working experience of which minimum of 2 must have been on steam turbines electrical auxiliaries, generator, excitor and related switchgear,
• Must possess good numeric and communication skills,
• Ability to work independently and be goal orientated,
• High Tolerance for Stress and able to Work under Pressure
• Good Understanding, Technical knowledge and experience with regards to the electrical maintenance of turbines and turbine auxiliaries.
