Treasury Clerk

Purpose of Job

To accurately record daily deposits of all stores. You will be required to communicate banking activity to your supervisor, explain bank reconciliations and report all cash transactions. To maintain optimum business cash flow by tracking income and expenditures using bookkeeping and accounting methods. To assist other support staff with the discovery and resolution of monetary discrepancies. To create and monitor regular financial reports and provide clear and concise financial summaries.

Key Performance Areas:

• To accurately summarise and reconcile daily takings (cash-ups) / deposits to banking

• reconciliation (Cash, Credit Cards, Change Order via Debit Order, Mr D, Uber, WI Codes, Paygate Online, Kiosk Order)

• Assist with credit card slips when requested from bank

• Liaise with stores with regards to queries for Reports

• Cash and Shortage Report

• Prepare Operational Reports

• Deliveries duplication Reports

• Delivery Portal Report (Uber & Mr D)

• Voids Report

• Daily Sales Report

• Perform other duties as required by the Financial Manager

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)

• Advanced Excel Skills (Non-negotiable)

• Good Communication Skills

• FMCG experience.
