SUMMARY:
My multinational client is renowned for excellent company culture. Their accounting team is fast-growing and are seeking a Treasury Accountant to further expand their accomplished team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Personnel Management:
Application and utilization of personnel:
Ensure that staff are applied appropriately to posts which ensures workload is efficiently distributed
Recruiting proactively and maintaining a good treasury environment
Manage treasury clerks daily and review all their work
Perform interviews in hiring process

Personnel training, development and facilitation:
Ensure that training is effectively planned and ensure that enough skills of workers are available to deal with the work
Ensure mentorship of employees are effective for skill development

Evaluation of personnel:
Be aware of all personnel skills and their duties to ensure an effective evaluation of employees
Ensure evaluations are done regularly in accordance with the guidelines of the system

Customer Service:
Liaising with internal and external customers
Engaging with customers and staff
Following up on all Treasury enquiries received

Admin:
Process cashbooks in accounting system regularly
Ensure salary reports are processed and accurate
Liaise with banks regarding queries
Engage with Area Managers regarding treasury queries
Update treasury filing
Ad hoc duties

Skills & Experience:
High English proficiency
Highly computer literate
Advanced in Excel (Non-negotiable)
Pastel Evolution and Payroll knowledge (advantageous)
Strong leadership skills

Qualification:
Accounting degree at a university (strong advantage)
