Training and Development Facilitator (Fitting)

SUMMARY:

A technically skilled role is currently available within the mining sector in Mpumalanga for a Fitting Training and Development Facilitator

POSITION INFO:

Coordinate and deliver Apprentice and Engineering training for Fitter Trade

BALANCED SCORECARD PILLARS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY

Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.

Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)

Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)

Utilized the Integrated Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status

CUSTOMERS

Ensure Customer Satisfaction as specified by Logistic practitioner

BUSINESS PROCESS

Coordinate of all Fitter training facilities

Responsible for maintenance of workshop equipment and tools

Coordinate trade test quality throughout Samancor Cr

Assist with the creation of new course materials, updates existing training materials and programs

Maintain applicable procedures for processes in area of responsibility

Assist with budget inputs

Provide input with regard to the expansion of facilities to comply with Engineering training requirements

Ensure all Engineering training material is on EBMS

Assist in community projects - skills upliftment

Benchmarking it to Engineering training best practice

Ensure alignment with SETA requirements

Auditing and reporting

SHAREHOLDER VALUE

Plan and prepare departmental budget related to communication initiatives

Monitor and control section costs
