POSITION INFO:

Job Position: Training Officer / Skills Development Facilitator

Location: Port Elizabeth
Salary: R20 000 per month CTC (negotiable)

Qualifications / Requirements:

• To start immediately
• Relevant qualification in training
• Registration as a Skills Development Facilitator – must show proof / certification
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years education and training experience, preferably in an automotive related environment
• Must have good understanding of MERSETA grant application requirements and processes (essential)
• Must have experience in drafting and submitting a WSP to MERSETA
• Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Research and analyzing organization skills requirement
• Report and training material writing skills
• Exceptional Communication and presentation skills
• Confident disposition, proactive and self-driven
• Well presented and spoken

Key Performance Areas:

• Responsible for starting this division from scratch, hence must have the necessary experience, in order to start, develop and control department
• Will need to look at available programs and apprenticeships and identify necessary staff, who qualify accordingly
• Develop, implement and submit Workplace Skills Plan to MERSETA according to their requirements
• Conduct in-depth statistical analysis of organizational skills development and training trends
• Develop the relevant documentation for preparing the submission of the training provider
• Run training committee and programs
