Training Officer (Sales) - Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS:

ØRelevant Diploma /Degree or equivalent qualification in HR Development.

ØODETD Practices certification.

ØAt least 3 years extensive training experience.

ØAccredited Assessor, Moderator, Facilitator & Accreditation in Designing Learning Material.

ØFAIS / RE Desirable.

Ø2 years’ experience as a sales coach.

ØAdditional certification in sales training.

ØProven work experience as a Sales Trainer.

ØCompetencies required:

vSound Knowledge of legislations.

vAssessment and Moderation Principles.

vSkills Development Facilitation.

vLearning Management System.

vKnowledge of conducting Needs Identification and analysis.

vThorough Knowledge of Training Related Legislation.

vThorough knowledge of Training and Development Policies Procedures and Business process.

vThe ability to analyse the current and future needs of the business and to formulate training plans accordingly.

vResearch and procure external training programs to meet the business unit needs.

vExperience with web-based and e-learning platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ØDelivery of training on the business strategy as defined by the business.

ØDevelopment of training programs for the teams on a national basis.

ØImplement our sales techniques by training all existing staff.

ØMaintain updated records of sales modules and materials.

ØConducts reviews with all business heads to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs.

ØDesign learning programme frameworks that are fit for purpose and meet stakeholder requirements & recommend suitable development interventions to address any skills gaps identified.

ØResearch content of learning programmes and other learning interventions in consultation with subject matter experts & align the content for the business.

ØDevelop and implement a training plan that ensures attainment of goals and profitability of global sales. Research and procure external training programs to meet global sales needs and requirements.

ØDevelopment of training and educational programs for the teams on a national basis.

ØNeed to make decisions on relevant programmes required by Global Sales business in line with Education and Training Compliance Standards.
