SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Senior Training Officer, the role will be responsible for all training and development of the employees at the operation in area of responsibility.
POSITION INFO:
Grade 12.
Certificate in Occupational Directed ETP Practice (NQF Level 4).
Electrician Trade Certificate **
Conduct Outcomes Based Assessment.
3 years’ relevant experience in a technical or training environment.
Computer literate (MS Office Suite)
Valid Driver’s License
Participate in defining training needs at relevant level of responsibility in order to ensure legal compliance of MHSA and other relevant legislation (include Contractors), where applicable.
Participate in external evaluation and auditing of training system/ initiatives in accordance with ISO 9001 standards, SETA Standards and legislation requirements, where applicable.
Support the tracking and maintaining of an annual training schedule relevant to skills programs and ensure implementation when required.
Participate in accreditation related activities and processes.
Present and facilitate training interventions in area of responsibility (skills programmes and other).
Assess training interventions in area of responsibility.
Oversee the CBT facilities.
Support the maintenance of an adequate administrative and recordkeeping on the system of all training related records.
Engage with internal stakeholders regarding the Human Resource Development process.
Establish and maintain good working relationships and an effective / sound communication system with the HR Function.
Conduct on the job coaching of trainees
Take cognisance of and adhere to Company policies, procedures and relevant legislation. Manage and report on non compliance issues.
