SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry, has an opportunity available for a Training Officer to be based in the Burgersfort, Limpopo area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Grade 12 and Level 4 OD ETDP is essential
Level 5 OD ETDP is added advantage
Registered as Assessor / Moderator is essential
Blasting Certificate is essential
A valid Production Supervisor Certificate of Competence is essential.
Minimum of 3 year experience as a Shift Supervisor on a Conventional Mine is essential.
Experience in ISO and MQA is essential
Computer literacy (MS Office) is essential
Technical working knowledge with regard to stoping, development, trackless machinery equipping, planning and safety policies, procedures and regulations.
Knowledge with regard to mine standards best practices, risk management and operational business objectives.
Valid Code 8 Drivers license
A valid medical certificate or medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate

KPAs:

Designing and developing relevant documentation, procedures and systems to support HRD
Enforcing compliance to ISO and Learning delivery systems
Conducting frequent audits on all HRD Management Systems
Conducting External Moderation across all units and disciplines
Present and update induction programmes
Rescue pack training for all underground employees
Maintain the surface Training Centre facilities
Co-ordinate the computer based training
