Training Officer

SUMMARY:
The Training Officer will report to the Integrated Services Manager (ISM).

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the Job:

The Training Officer will report to the Integrated Services Manager (ISM). The primary responsibility of the Training Officer will be for the training functions at Sanlam and Santam Head Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for training functions at Sanlam and Santam Head Office
• Co-ordinate and manage internal training
• Record, administrate and report learning initiatives
• Conduct induction and learning programs
• Facilitate learning of temporarily and permanent employees in line with needs using suitable methodology
• Assess and moderate learning
• Record and report on training and assessment initiatives
• Develop, design and customize learning material and program
• Ensuring that the Training Register is signed when an individual reports for a training course
• Record keeping of all individuals who attend a training course

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric Certified
• Basic Firefighting, First Aid and Health and Safety Training Certificates
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• 2 - 3 years relevant working experience
• SASSETA registered
• Valid Grade B PSIRA Accreditation
• Solid Computer Proficiency (Excel/ E-mail/ Word/ PPT)
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a Training Industry
• Previous Experience in the Security/Cleaning Industry
• Valid driver’s license with own reliable vehicle
