Training Officer - 6 month contract

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Training Officer for a 6 month contract vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Matric with Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Social Science or HR Management
• 5+ years training & development experience in public health programs in NGO setting
• Accredited training moderator and assessor
• Experience with HIVl/AIDS/TB training
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and development of training materials
• Good MS Office skills
• Conflict management skills and ability to build/maintain relationships
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel extensively

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Conduct training needs assessments and analysis
• Prepare all logistical needs & coordinate training and review of training material
• Provide / facilitate training as per needs identified
• Conduct routine / on the spot mentoring, coaching and supportive supervision
• Participate in training / orientation / induction and re-orientation of staff
• Training evaluation assessments and participate in training accreditation process
• Ensure all training is monitored and reported on accordingly
• Monthly / quarterly reports and filing of records and routine reporting to Training Manager

Salary:  R36 000.00 per month CTC for the contract duration
