Training Faciitator

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dedicated professional to conduct all training courses as defined in the HSV Training Plan and address Operators and Maintainer training with the objective of ensuring that the HSV crew can operate and maintain the HSV safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• The primary objective of the Training Facilitator is to conduct the training courses that is the responsibility of the organization, these courses are identified in the HSV Training Plan.
• The facilitator will act as the system/equipment subject matter specialist, assisting the training team with inputs to the training material and technical manuals which will be used in conducting the courses.
• To elaborate, the involvement includes the following activities:
  • Familiarize oneself with the HSV systems to assist and provide inputs into the development of the training material and technical manuals. This will enable the facilitator to be attuned to the required training outcomes.
  • Assist and provide inputs into the development of the training assessments required for theoretical and practical assessments; these assessments will be used to assess the learners on completion of the training courses.
  • Prepare and present the training courses iaw the HSV Training Plan using the finalized training material and technical manuals.
  • Assist and provide inputs to the training coordinators with administration activities prior to, during and post training event.
  • Equipment training
  • System training
  • Provide on-going On the Job training (OJT)
  • Continuation of training

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Qualified Marine Chief Engineer or similar maritime engineering qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the operation, repair and maintenance of marine engineering systems and equipment.
• Be computer literate with basic Microsoft Office and Adobe tools.
• Previous training experience and exposure will be beneficial.
• Previous naval engineering (military) exposure and experience will be beneficial
