Trainee Shift Setter - Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Assisting in achieving a production efficiency of 85% -90%
• Setting machines according to the best practices
• Assisting with mould and material trials as required
• Reporting and assisting with machine and mould maintenance
• Ensuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintained, serviced stored
• Ensuring that all finished goods meet the minimum quality requirements
• Ensure that raw material and packaging waste is below 1.4%
• Ensuring that top quality products are produced
• Practice a high standard of housekeeping and safety

Minimum Requirements:

• N4 studies completed and passed – certificate required
• N5 or higher would be advantageous
• Mechanical aptitude
• A minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience
• Must be able to work shifts and weekends and have their own transport
