Trainee Purchasing and Inventory Controller

SUMMARY:

Our client, a market leader in Gas Burner, Boiler and Oil installations in the Southern Hemisphere, is looking for a permanent Trainee Purchasing and Inventory Controller to join their high energy team based in the Western Cape.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• BCom degree in Business Management, or relevant qualification.
• Advantageous: 2 years working experience.
• No previous experience as buyer, purchasing or inventory control required. Training will be provided.

Technical Requirements:

• MS Office literacy (Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook essential).
• Advantageous: Knowledge of Aspekt.

Main Responsibilities:

• Overall Management of stores.
• Managing stores spare parts both: Targets and Sales.
• Managing price lists of products.
• Responsible for annual stock take.
• Maintain and develop with key suppliers and customers.
• Managing company driver.
• Inventory and stock control management
• Managing imports and purchasing.
• Managing return repairs and exports.
• Exports / Return Repairs.
