JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
Our client is looking for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Manager to join their FMCG retail team. This role is ideal for an individual eager to grow their management career in a fast-paced retail environment while gaining hands-on leadership and operational experience.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in FMCG retail (supervisory experience advantageous)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn, show initiative, and take responsibility
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literac
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate would be required, but not limited to:- Assist the Store/Department Manager with daily store operations
- Supervise staff and ensure high standards of customer service
- Support stock control, ordering, merchandising, and stock rotation
- Monitor sales performance and assist in achieving targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
- Open and close the store when required
