Trainee Buyer - Kidswear

SUMMARY:
Fantastic opportunity for on trend, fashion forward person with at least 1 years ladies or kidswear clothing experience in buying or merchandising, to join the buying team of this national retail chain. POSITION INFO:

• 1 – 2 years working experience in the Fashion | Clothing industry (either in buying with a retail chain or fashion design | merchandising with a clothing manufacturer
• Fashion Design Deree or Diploma preferred
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to build a balanced range
• Understanding of the customer profile
• Technical knowledge in the construction of garments
• Ability to effectively research upcoming trends
• Ability to present well
• Strong administration skills and good understanding of figures
• Solid briefing skills
• Excellent supplier relations and ability to build relationships on trust and understanding
• Good trading skills
