Trainee Accountant (SAIPA 1st year Clerk)

SUMMARY:

Our client, a company specialising in financial services is seeking a young, energetic Trainee Accountant (SAIPA 1^st year Clerk) to join their energetic corporate team based in Pretoria East.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

•  
• Degree in Accounting.
• Beneficial: Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle.

Technical Requirements:

• MS Office literacy (MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook essential).
• Beneficial: SAGE.
• Beneficial: Pastel.

Main Responsibilities:

The following duties included, but not exclusive:

• Recording customer business transactions on the relevant accounting software and prepare Financial Statements from Trial balance.
• Complete all relevant tax and other statutory returns of customers, including but not exclusive, CIPC, VAT, PAYE, UIF, Workmans compensation and Income tax. 
• Discuss and finalize Financial Statements with clients.
• Other duties relevant to professional accountant training.
