Trainee Accountant

Our client in Johannesburg is looking for a Trainee Accountant who would like to complete their SAIPA Articles to join their team.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Managing invoices, create invoices for the company''s clients, input vendor invoices in the system and pay bills
• Developing technical knowledge.
• Inputting income and expenses entries.
• Managing accounts.
• Completing administrative tasks.
• Verifying and presenting data.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicant should have a SAIPA recognized degree in Accounting or should be studying towards the relevant qualification
• Must have the ability to work well in a team
• Must have good time management and problem-solving skills
• Must have strong communication and presentation skills
• Must have the ability to work under pressure
• Work experience and knowledge in CaseWare and Pastel will be an added advantage
• Salary dependant on how far you are with your degree, trainee modulus completed
