Our client in Woodmead - Sandton in the financial Consulting services industry seeks a junior assistant accountant / Trainee accountant just completed Articles to join their finance team .

Minimum Requirements

BCom Degree / equivalent or studying towards will be advantageous
Minimum 1-2 years working experience
Complete Articles will be advantageous
experience with Sage Pastel would be desirable
Experience on caseware working papers would be advantageous
Proficient on MS Exce (Vlookup, SUMif ( and desired pivot tables
attention to detail
Basic Vat knowledge
Ability to work independently
Fluent ion the English langauge and advatageous speaks Afrikaans

Responsible

Day - to day processing of cashbooks, journals and invoicng
Bank Recons
Maintain General ledger accounts
assist on month end processng and reports
Vat recon preparation and recon
assist with year end audits
Reconsile Intercompany accounts
supporting accountant with adhoc
