An exclusive and intimate 5-star safari lodge is looking for a TRAILS GUIDE/SPA ADMIN OPS COUPLE to join their team.
POSITION INFO:
This gorgeous lodge sleeps a maximum of 12 guests, and is situated in the Madikwe Game Reserve in North West. This position is ideal for those with previous experience in a high-end 5-star environment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency. Must be passionate about the bush, hospitality, and people.
Trails Guide:
- Must have Lead Trails Guide qualification
- FGASA Level 2 (NQF 4)
- DEAT registered for NW province
- Valid first aid and PDP
- Minimum 5 years experience in a 5-star lodge
- Excellent communication skills in English, as mostly international guests
- Must have own transport
- Assisting with maintenance when quiet
- Looking for an ethical guide with a passion for nature
- Must be trustworthy, reliable presentable and punctual
Spa Therapist/Admin Operations Assistant:
Looking for an experienced spa professional ready to transition into a broader hospitality role that combines spa expertise with reception, hosting, and operations support. This hands-on position suits someone who thrives in a small, close-knit lodge team, enjoys variety, and is passionate about wellness, guest satisfaction, and professional service.
- Qualified skincare therapist (Somatology Diploma: ITEC/CIDESCO/SAAHSP/CIBTAC)
- 3+ years’ spa or beauty industry experience; 5-star/lodge background preferred
- Proficient in facials, nails, body treatments, and all major massage techniques
- Strong admin, reception, and organizational skills; PAN Hospitality experience an advantage
- Excellent communication, well-groomed, reliable, and service-focused
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Computer literate; capable of handling stock control, guest hosting, and room checks
- Team player who can also work independently; assists management as needed
- Must have own reliable transport

Trails Guide:
- R12-R14kpm, DOE
- Live-in accommodation (single, furnished)
- Meals and uniform provided
- Work Cycle: 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off
- Annual leave: 21 Days per annum to be taken at a time which is mutually convenient to both you and the employer
- Medical Aid Discovery Health KeyCare (after 3 months; employer to pay the total contribution to the medical aid scheme on your behalf)
- Provident Fund (after 3 months: 5% contributed by employer and 5% contributed by employee)
- No pets, children or partners
Spa Therapist/Admin Operations Assistant:
- R8-R9kpm, DOE
- 10% commission on spa treatments
- This position is also included in general staff gratuities
- Live-in accommodation (single, furnished)
- Meals and uniform provided
