POSITION INFO:
This is a stunning boutique luxury 5-star lodge situated in the Thornybush Game Reserve. The ideal couple will consist of an experienced trails guide and lodge manager with prior experience in a 5-star lodge.
Assistant Manager
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a manager in a 4/5 star lodge (Essential)
- Excellent understanding of all functions within a lodge operation.
- Sound financial acumen and computer literacy.
- Strong Food and Beverage background.
- Excellent Customer Relations.
- Professional and well-groomed.
- Must be of sober habits.
- Driver’s license is essential.
Trails Guide:
- FGASA Level 2; Full Trails.
- Valid ARH & PDP and NDT.
- Oversee the maintenance department.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to perform various repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook for managing schedules and communication.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be of sober habits
