Trade Tested Electrician

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join a project team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs in line with safety and regulatory standards.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on equipment and facilities
• Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with OHS Act, SANS standards, and site safety procedures
• Complete job cards, inspections, and reports accurately
• Work collaboratively with other trades and site personnel
• Adhere to project timelines and quality requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Trade Test Certificate (Electrician – Red Seal preferred)
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ post-trade experience
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
• Medically fit to work on site
