SUMMARY:
Our client in the Automotive Manufacturing industry is seeking to employ Toolmakers to join their team in East London.

POSITION INFO:

Key Performance Areas:

• Manufacture, repair, maintain and modify tools, jigs to customer and company requirements.

Knowledge & Skills required:

• Certified toolmaker
• Toolmaker techniques
• Tool, die and jig repair and maintenance
• Communication & decision making
• Experience in metal pressing within the automotive industry
• Repair & Refurbish light and heavy press tooling
• General machining
• Specialised welding (Tool steel, cast iron etc.)

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Qualified Tool and jig maker
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Toolmaker within an Automotive environment
• Minimum 2 years tool, jig and die experience
