SUMMARY:
Well-established Manufacturing company is seeking to employ a Toolmaker to join their team in Elandsfontein .Maintenance and manufacturing of press tooling and moulding tools. Skills needed in Progression tools.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Toolmaker

Johannesburg East

Minimum qualifications and experience:
  • Matric (non-negotiable)
  • Trade Tested Tool, Jig, and Die Maker
  • 5-10 years post-apprenticeship experience in a tool-room environment maintaining, repairing and manufacturing Precision Progression Press tools and Moulding tools

Responsibilities:
  • Meet set delivery dates to schedules
  • Ensure that tools are manufactured to drawings
  • Ensure that set quality standards and accuracy of all parts are achieved
  • Ensure safety regulations are observed in all aspects
  • Control and manufacture tools to calculated times
  • Maintain existing tools in working order
  • Ensure that work is efficiently carried out
