JOB DESCRIPTION:

Tool, Jig & Die Maker - Killarney Gardens - R110 per-hour

Requirements:

3-4 years’ experience as Tool, Jig & Die Maker
Driver’s License compulsory – Code 10(PDP)
Must be able to Travel
Able to work on site and interact with customers

Experience:

Able to implement any necessary modification and repairs
Assembling, fitting and repair of Equipment build
Able to work from Engineering drawings to measure and mark the design for a part.
Ability to use hand tools such as files, hacksaws, grinders etc.
Ability to use machinery such as Lathes, milling machines, cutter grinders to cut and shape or form tools or parts.
Use precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, gauges, clocks, Vernier calipers etc.
Check parts and /or tools dimensions according to drawing tolerances
Attending to machine breakdowns to identify the root cause and solve the problem.
Ability to work at fine tolerances
Able to do Welding – Tig, Arc, Mig
