Location: Huguenot Tunnel and Toll Plaza N1, Paarl Western Cape
Report To: Shift Manager
POSITION INFO:
Qualification and Skills:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Knowledge of the Toll Collection process is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, be able to communicate with the public
- Interpersonal Relationship Skills
- Self-management
- Basic computer Literacy skills
- Numeric ability to count cash quickly and accurately
- History of unquestionable integrity
- Certificate of Fitness
Responsibilities:
- Use Toll and Lane equipment as required
- Classify vehicles as prescribed
- Report all incidents, violations, and malfunctioning equipment to the Shift Manager in the prescribed manner and record such.
- Ensure a toll booth is always clean and orderly.
- Follow all shift procedures.
- Handle cash and other documents in the prescribed manner.
- Maintain excellent relations with the road user.
- Comply with policies, Procedures, Health and Safety, and Security Procedures at work.
- Report fraud or irregularities to Management.
