Thrust Plate CNC Operator

SUMMARY:
Our Cape Town based client has been manufacturing and assembling SAE mounted cast iron pumps and associate components since 1985.

POSITION INFO:
Are you a Thrust Plate CNC Operator with 3 years’ general machining experience and a spotless attendance record?  Are you self-motivated and conscientious?

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:     PERMANENT
SECTOR                      :     MANUFACTURING
START DATE              :      IMMEDIATE / A.S.A.P

DUTIES:
Assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of machinery
Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process
Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems found
Work with others to ensure that equipment is in proper working condition

REQUIREMENT:
Grade 12 with mathematics
3 year’s general machining experience
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Able to work on a three shift rotational basis
Be certified by GPM for basic arithmetic, dexterity, measurement and eye test
