SUMMARY:
A successful company within the coatings industry seeks to employ a Thermal Spray Technician.

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

• Grade 12 (Matric)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ previous work experience as a thermal spray technician.
• Fluent in English (Read, write, speak and understand)
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Own Transport (vehicle and driver’s license)
• Ability to use measuring equipment
• Previous experience using Oerlikon Spray equipment would be favourable

Duties

• Be able to set-up and operate the appropriate production resources (robot, guns and turntables).
• Inspect and confirm that surface preparation is done correctly
• Must be competent in the use of measuring equipment.
• Executing planned and unplanned maintenance work on production as set out in maintenance schedule.
• Ensure accurate job record keeping is done
