Textile Production Line Manager - Strijdom Park - Randburg

POSITION INFO:

Salary R10,000.00  - 15,000.00 per month

Managing teams of 10 - 30 personnel within the factory environment.

The production manager is responsible for the execution of all production work of converting inputs into outputs as per  instructions and thus making value additions. He delivers goods on a designated shipment date. Duties and responsibilities of production manager in the apparel industry

Responsibility of Production Manager in Apparel and Textile industry:

A production manager generally performs the following tasks:

1. The production manager receives the order plan and order sheet from the senior authorities.

2. He will prepare textile and <--------Please upload your CV here-------- plans weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

3. He will receive material status against each order and will monitor the progress of material received.

5. He ensures that apparel production lines are properly balanced for target output.

6. He coordinates with the <--------Please upload your CV here-------- manager so that defective or faulty goods are not produced.

7. He provides job assignments to supervisors and other subordinates.

8. He ensures that the floor, <--------Please upload your CV here--------, toilet, dining spaces is neat and clean.

9. He ensures that all work stations are properly illuminated.

10. He will arrange for continuous training of helpers and operators.

11. He will have a pre-production sample prepared and compared with the originally approved sample.

12. He ensures to pursue the right works, quality, and maintenance standards.

13. He ensures that materials are organized at each stage of processing.

14. He ensures that a congenial atmosphere exists on the floor.

15. He makes the right evaluation of the performance of his subordinates.

16. He arranged for proper documentation of all the activities on the floor.

18. As a leader, he inspires unites employees for better works, better motivation.

19. He ensures that all the machinery is equipped with protective devices.

21. He will approve the commencement of production against a work order.

22. He monitors the progress of production against the production plan.

23. He takes countermeasures if the progress of textile or apparel production is not satisfactory.

25. He is responsible for ensuring discipline on the floor.

26. He takes care of the worker’s safety and welfare.
