SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available!! Our well known client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Test and Training Officer to join their team in Fort Jackson (25 km from East London)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Manage our in-house training system that addresses company mandatory needs.
Production cross–training, measurement of the training effectiveness and training transfer.
Responsible for annual test and training application and implementation of tests.
Determination and specification of focal points of training for shift managers and production personnel.
Implementation of training measures.
Ensure audit conformance for production requirements.
Co-ordinate internal Shop Floor Training Programme (SFT) mentoring and monthly reports.
Responsible for creating job descriptions for new employees and updating existing employee job descriptions.
Responsible for maintaining the Skills and Training Matrix for the plant.
Schedule Training and License renewals for (forklift drivers, reach-truck drivers, crane operators, safety reps and first aiders).
IBR creation and co-ordination for external training and bookings.
Provide inputs for B-BBEE year end report.
HR mandatory induction training for new employees.
Induction training for contractors.
Maintain / update personnel training files.

Job Requirements:

Training and Development Diploma.
Proven experience in Training and Development.
At least 5 years experience in a production / manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Intermediate skills in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
Manufacturing knowledge and principles
