Test Analyst required for a company in Aberdeen.
The company, who have a market-leading product, are looking for a strong Test Analyst with primarily manual testing skills to join a growing team. You''ll be joining another Test Analyst and a Senior Test Analyst in this particular team, thought the company have other Testers within different workstreams. The technical leads value and advocate for software testing, and are passionate about ensuring you have a voice to develop and improve things.
Due to the niche nature of their product, for this role, they need someone with a very high level of written and spoken English to ensure the output is accurate both technically and language wise (English, not a programming language!).
Long-term the company do plan to build up an automated regression test suite, so any experience of automation testing or an interest in it would be ideal!
You will most likely have the following skills and experience:
** Strong verbal and written English, strong communication skills in general
** Experience within an Agile environment
** Jira (or similar)
** Manual testing experience
** Non-functional testing like performance, load and stress testing (would be a bonus!)
** Continuous integration environment (CI/CD processes, Jenkins etc.)
** Passionate about developing test improvements
** Experience in a data driven or data focused environment would be useful, as well as exposure to AI
The organisation have recently opened a new (stunning!) office in the city centre of Aberdeen, and are keen to invite people in to the office when it is safe to do so. They are also open to offer some level of home working - up to two days a week, although they have yet to decide if those would be set by the employee or if each workstream would have set days.
The salary on offer is up to £35,000 and the company can offer health insurance, share options and a discretionary bonus scheme along with holidays and pension.
Over the year the company are planning for some significant growth, so it''s a great time to get involved. They also love to develop and promote from within (think developing automation testing skills, moving into a new team, moving into a Senior role etc.).
