Our Client is looking for Tender Specialist focusing supporting the firm's practitioners winning work through new work which are tendered for from existing clients.

This position often has to deal with high volumes of tenders in a stressful and very pressurized environment where teamwork is essential to meet deadlines. It is essential that the successful incumbent is flexible and demonstrates a high sense of urgency.

Duties:
  • Project manage the entire process of all aspects relating to tender responses, pitches and capability statements, simultaneously, including facilitating and leading meetings, agreeing a win strategy and messaging, drafting and reviewing content from a winning business perspective, preparation of client presentations and conducting post-bid activities.
  • Ensuring that responses are fully compliant with tender requirements and ensuring timeously delivery with the highest quality
  • Assist Executives of the firm in identifying key messaging and writing/editing as required to ensure these concepts evolve and are reflected in responses.
  • Liaise with external teaming partners on tender requirements ( i.e. teaming agreements, Power of Attorneys, Letters of Association, Letters of Intent).
  • Coordinate and assist with the review of Service Level Agreements ( “SLAs”) Managing this process to ensure that SLAs are finalised and signed-off.
  • Generating final documentation in keeping with Brand rules and guidelines of the firm.
  • Ensure that all responses are tracked within the firm’s CRM system.
  • Communicate and collaborate by ensuring that the Firm and the procurement best practices are adhered to at all times
  • Analyse objectively pursuit opportunities, propose Go/No-Go recommendations
  • Act as a trusted advisor and continuously build new relationships across the firm in order to foster cross- selling of low-hanging opportunities across the firm.
Requirements:
Relevant Degree, with 3-5 years of experience in bids/tenders
Strong Project management and planning skills
Research skills, including attention to detail
Tender & bid experience
A positive “can do” attitude
