Temporary Maintenance Electrician

SUMMARY:
Leading FMCG company is looking for a Maintenance Electrician. This is a temporary position, candidates applying must be available immediately

POSITION INFO:

• Maintenance electrician requirements:
•  Must be a qualified, trade tested, red seal electrician
•  Must be able and willing to work shifts
•  Must be able and willing to be on stand-by
•  Must be able and willing to work in extreme cold conditions, heights and confined spaces.
• A 3-phase wireman’s licence will be preferable. (Installation or master electrician)

• Maintenance electrician job specifications:
•  Implement reactive & preventative maintenance
• Tend to equipment breakdowns
• Implement equipment upgrades & enhancements
• Fit distribution boards, motor control circuits (MCCs), wiring systems & equipment
• Inspected & tested distribution boards, MCCs, wiring systems & equipment
• Repair faulty distribution boards, MCCs, wiring systems & equipment
• Set programmable logical circuits (PLC''s)
• Ensure all electrical installations are compliant to national regulations.
• Certify electrical installations (preferred)
