Temporary HR Officer/Manager

SUMMARY:
Durban-based global manufacturing and logistics company seeks a Temp HR Officer/Manager (Services) responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which includes but not limited to recruitment, staffing, performance, personnel development, monitoring and employee counselling.

POSITION INFO:

Job Requirements

• Tertiary degree in HR or related
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
• Willingness to travel locally (occasional
• SAP Experience (Preferable)

Duties

Recruitment

• Sourcing talent for vacant positions and screening CV''s of potential candidates
• Setting up interviews with Line Managers and potential candidates
• Conduct interviews with all potential candidates and managers involved
• Setting up background and credit checks
• Contact referees and get Reference checks for potential candidates
• Drafting of Letter of Offers and Appointments to successful incumbents
• Drafting of fixed-Term Contracts
• Maintain a database pool of talent, continually sourcing suitable candidates for future positions

Employee Orientation

• Facilitate On-boarding on New employees

Industrial Relations

• Assist on Grievance and poor performance issues
• Assist the ER Manager in support of disciplinary issues
• Complete necessary documentation as needed by the Department of Labour

HR Administration

• Creating of position numbers for all branches
• Capturing qualifications for new employees
• Generating leave reports
• Capturing leave schedules for the CDC Branch
• Creating exit surveys for employees
• Processing monthly payments
• Liaise with external clients (NBC, Momentum, etc.)
• Generate any adhoc reports required
