Foreign & Local Creditors Clerk

Our client in the Automotive industry based in the Port Elizabeth area is currently looking to employ a Temporary Foreign & Local Creditors Clerk .

Requirements:

Diploma in finance
5-7 years’ experience in a foreign creditor’s role.
Highly computer literate, advanced Excel experience.
Advanced people management and communication skills.
Good business acumen.
High levels of confidentiality and attention to detail.
Customs duty and other related knowledge preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for local and foreign creditors accounts and intercompany AP processing.
Responsible for local, intercompany, and foreign account reconciliation.
Assist with ad-hoc accounting and functions in the finance department.
Verification of nominal ledger coding,
Matching of clearing agents’ paperwork/GRN to invoice.
Responsible for cashbook processing.
Timeous submission of documents and payment preparation according to SARB rules and mandates.
Freight invoice verification.
