SUMMARY:
A successful Engineering company based in the Northern Suburbs is seeking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Debtors & Creditors Clerk to join their Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Please note that this is a 6-month contract, with the possibility of being made permanent.

Requirements:

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
Applicable Tertiary Qualification.
High volume processing experience.
Deadline driven and highly accurate.
Strong numerical skills.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Working Knowledge of Pastel.
Computer literate / Microsoft office.

Responsibilities:

Performing both debtors and creditors tasks.
Managing debtor accounts and communicating with clients.
Ensure that all creditors are paid accurately and timeously.
Monthly reconciliations.
Correct allocation of supplier payments.
Assisting Accountant with yearly audits.
Other ad hoc duties within the scope of the role.
