Temporary Creditors Clerk

SUMMARY:
Our client is within the brick and tile manufacturing industry, and they are looking for a Creditors Clerk to join their team on a limited duration temporary assignment.

POSITION INFO:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Capturing and uploading of invoices
• Requesting statement from suppliers
• Checking if all invoices are captured on the system
• Requesting invoices from suppliers
• Printing invoices and handing to relevant department
• Sending remittances to all suppliers
• Sending POP’s to relevant parties
• Preparing weekly recons
• Preparing monthly recons
• Loading payments on the bank
• Capturing and loading all urgent payment daily
• Filing of invoices to supplier files
• Handling supplier queries

Educational Requirements:

• Matric
• A post-school credit control / financial qualification will be advantageous

Experience and Skills Required:

• At least year’s hands-on creditor administrator experience
• Previous experience with Sage Pastel (supplier & general ledger)
• Previous experience with cashbook Sage Pastel will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Immediately available and able to start ASAP
