POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities will include:

• Purchase goods and services as per Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or delegated by Senior Buyer according to customers specification
• Maintenance of accurate and effective purchasing records
• Ensure timeous receipt of goods (expediting)
• Market research
• Negotiations
• Ensure supplier conformance to HSE and B-BBEE requirements

 

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Purchasing Management
• 5 years’ experience
• SAP R3 (Materials Management)
• EB Driver’s License
