SUMMARY:
The primary focus of the role will be the handling of logistical and administrative processes of export shipments, providing support on applicable export administration process, prepare and report sales vs forecast with customers.

POSITION INFO:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing and processing of proforma quotes, final invoices and related shipping documents
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to follow up on status of orders and/or stock availability
  • Tracking of shipments and communicating the status thereof to relevant receiving parties / departments
  • Liaise with overseas offices, suppliers, partners and agents
  • Customer communication regarding orders, updates on loading and shipment detail
  • Liaising with freight forwarders /transporters regarding shipping, freight bookings and export documents
  • Liaising with warehouse and factories regarding loading of containers / trucks and required certificates
  • Processing of documentation as per the country / customer requirements
  • Liaising with external stakeholders
  • Loading of customer price deals on the system
  • Create requisitions and order consumables for department
  • Track and report customer sales vs forecast
  • Prepare and communicate monthly customer/product forecast with supply team

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3 year Diploma – Import / Export trade related
  • Industry related courses specific to Import and Export processes
  • Previous experience (4 – 6 years) in a relevant role
  • Strong administrative skills and to be very organised with good planning and time-management skill
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong sense of urgency and focus to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge and experience of customs documentation and procedures as well as warehouse and transport procedures
  • Ability to raise and complete documentation
  • Good numeric skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to achieve objectives
  • Engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective interactions and achievement of results
  • Energetic individual that shows initiative and are pro-active
