SUMMARY:
Our client based in Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha requires a Creditors Clerk for a temporary assignment

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must be able to handle full creditors function - monthly recons of statement to GL, capture invoices, handle queries, prepare monthly payments
1.    Manages the accounts payable function within the organization's established policies.  
2.      Reviews invoices for accuracy and completeness.  
3.      Sorts documents by vendor name and purchase order and enter invoices into company’s accounting software system .  
4.      Daily setup of vendors when needed and researching of past due invoices.  Handle discrepancies between purchase order and invoice prices by communicating with vendor and employees.  
5.      Handling vendor inquiries.  
6.      Ensures expense coding, processing of invoices and check issuance are accomplished accurately and timely.  
7.       Requires understanding of bookkeeping procedures and at least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
