A Telesales Representative is responsible for contacting potential and existing customers by phone to promote products or services, generate sales, and build customer relationships. The role involves meeting sales targets, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote products or services.
Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns or referrals.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
Explain product features, pricing, and benefits clearly and persuasively.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Handle objections professionally and negotiate to close sales.
Process orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain detailed records of calls, sales, and customer information in CRM systems.
Build and maintain ongoing customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and sales techniques.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Persuasive and confident telephone manner.
Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
Basic computer literacy and experience with CRM software (preferred).
Good problem-solving and active listening skills.
Sales experience (telesales or call center) is an advantage but not always required.
