POSITION INFO:

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Developing new leads for Key Account Managers and assist in identifying and follow up on business leads in liaison with the sales team; Ensuring Key Account Managers have been assigned new appointments as per the set targets.            

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Contact customers directly by telephone to make sales and arranging appointments
  2. Build repeat sales through establishing strong customer relationships and contacting existing customers and also prospecting through the internet, magazines, yellow pages and use of any necessary platforms to qualify prospects.
  3. Contact the prospects, qualify them and pass the qualified leads to field Key Sales Account Managers
  4. Search Retriever database to identify customers who have bought a product in the past or prospects whose profiles indicate that they are likely to buy.
  5. Offer existing customers running offers, additional products or services when they call to place orders.
  6. Carry out important customer care services
  7.  Create awareness to the customers on new products or promotions
  8. Contact the customers after a sale to check whether they are satisfied with the company services/products
  9. Assist to achieve the sales targets on monthly basis
  10.  Maintain accurate records of discussions or correspondences with customers and prospects
  11. Analyse statistics or other data on customer feedback to determine the level of customer service Retriever is providing.
  12.  Prepare daily activities sales reports

JOB SPECIFICATION

Qualification: Minimum O’ Level Grade C; Diploma in Business Administration or its equivalent in a reputable institution of higher learning.          

Experience: At least one year experience working in the telesales in a busy office.
