THE ROLE: TELEMARKETING EXECUTIVE
The Telemarketing Executive is responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities by proactively contacting prospective customers, introducing the company’s logistics and freight forwarding solutions, and securing appointments for the sales team.
The role plays a key part in developing new business relationships and supporting growth across domestic and international freight services. The position reports to the Sales Manager / Commercial Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation & Prospecting

Conduct outbound telephone calls to prospective customers across target industry sectors.

Identify and qualify decision-makers responsible for logistics and freight procurement.

Generate new business opportunities and arrange meetings for the field sales team.

Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects and opportunities.

Research potential customers and identify freight and logistics requirements.
Customer Engagement

Promote the company’s portfolio of air freight, sea freight, road freight, customs clearance, warehousing and distribution, QFS Connect, and associated logistics solutions.

Build professional relationships with prospective customers.

Understand customer challenges and identify opportunities where the company can add value.

Present the company professionally and positively at all times.
CRM & Administration

Record all activities, conversations, and opportunities within the CRM system.

Maintain accurate prospect and customer records.

Follow up quotations, enquiries, and marketing campaigns.

Produce regular activity reports detailing calls, appointments, leads, and conversion rates.

Support targeted marketing initiatives and new customer campaigns.
Team Collaboration

Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth handover of opportunities.

Share market intelligence and competitor information.

Contribute to sales meetings and business development planning.

Essential

Must come from the logistics industry.

Previous experience in a telemarketing, telesales, sales development, or customer-facing role.
