SUMMARY:
Technician/Engineer
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and solutions-oriented Technician/Engineer to join their team in Sandton, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering technical support, resolving issues, optimising processes and reducing operational errors. This position demands a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills who can handle diverse technical responsibilities across the organisation. The successful candidate needs to come with 3 years hands - on practical experience.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
- Background in Electrical or Engineering disciplines.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a technical role.
- IT knowledge or experience is a plus.
- Strong project management skills are highly desirable.
- Ability to quickly adapt and assist with various technical tasks across departments.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-driven with the capability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Address technical challenges and provide practical, effective solutions.
- Enhance process efficiency and minimise errors through streamlining efforts.
- Support various departments and projects requiring technical expertise.
- Diagnose and fix hardware, software or system-related issues.
- Participate in project planning and execution as needed.
