SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry, has an EE opportunity available for an ICT Technician, to be based in the Emgwenya area. This will be a fixed term contract position.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Grade 12/Standard 10/Matric
• A+/N+ or MCSEM
• Certificate in IT hardware (A+) Network (N+)
• JD Edwards Creation of Accounts and Maintenance
• Microsoft Server 2016, 2012R2
• Microsoft Exchange
• VMware, Veeam
• Sophos Antivirus
• Windows 7, 8 and 10
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Advance Networking Skills Cabling
• Valid driver''s license

KPAs:

• Installation, repair and maintenance of hardware in accordance with IT standards and business requirements
• Installation of latest program versions and repairs in accordance with IT standards and business requirements
• Installations, repairs and maintenance in accordance with IT standards and business requirements
• Effective trouble shooting on network points before a call is logged to service providers
• Ensure that IT equipment is operational as per disaster recovery plan
• Acceptance and conclusion of assigned incidents
