SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Technical Document Writer, where you will manage and control technical and administrative documentation and perform clerical and administration duties for the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Education:
  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Degree/Diploma in IT or a related field
  • Certificate in Technical writing/English/Communication or related field
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years industry related experience in Technical Document Writing
  • Writing procedural materials and managing administration activities
  • Knowledge of MS Windows/Servers and MS Office products
  • Knowledge of programming concepts and techniques
  • Experience using necessary tools to create, manage and maintain documentation
  • Experience in Software development and Computer Science fields
 
KPA’s:
  • Manage responsibility for end-to-end documentation process
  • Gather, prepare, develop, organise, write, edit and review understandable technical and administration documentation
  • Translate complex information into simple, user-friendly content
  • Rework all company and project documentation when necessary
  • Develop and maintain detailed lists/records/repositories for all project documents.
  • Provide monthly ad-hoc reports
  • Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches to improve current and new documentation.
