SUMMARY:
Do you have a passion for Training and Development? Our client is seeking an innovative, energetic, self-motivated team player with a sound technical training background.

POSITION INFO:

You will have gained extensive experience in the transferring of skills to employees both from an operational and technical skills perspective. This will include managing operations and technical trainees such as E.I.T. apprentices, learners, etc.

You will be required to develop, implement and maintain training programmes and manuals. In addition, your expertise will include the providing of monthly training reports and compiling of WSP and ATR for submission to the relevant SETA. Proactively conduct skills gap analysis, audits and compiling the annual training budget.

Grade 12 with maths as a subject
Recognized trade test as millwright or equivalent.
Previous 10 years artisan/foreman (mechanical) experience will be advantageous.
Diploma /current study /willingness to study HRD or equivalent.
Qualified and/or registered Skills Development Facilitator (SDF).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a technical trainer - (operations/technical).
Basic knowledge of EE, SDL, SD Acts, SAQA requirements.
Proficiency with MS Office suite at an intermediate level.
A high level of competence in leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and proven ability to work under pressure
Good business acumen
