Technical Traffic/Project Manager

SUMMARY:
We are currently looking for a Technical/Traffic Project Manager in the Pretoria area.

POSITION INFO:
Roles and Responsibilities:

Outsource Partner Management

• Manage, communicate with and coordinate outsource partners, which may include:
• Design Partners
• Development Partners
• Social media Partners
• Video Production Partners
• Identify new potential partners on an ongoing basis.
• Go through the vetting process, meetings and agreement with potential partners.
• Act as a liaison between the outsource partners and the Company’s employees.
• Act as a liaison between the outsource partners and clients.
• Along with the relevant team members, manage projects outsourced to partners to ensure successful completion.
• Conduct bi-weekly status meetings with partners to ensure they are constantly working to improve production with clients.
• Do Quality Control on all partner projects to ensure ideal delivery of end-product to client.
• Task with partners includes:
• Meetings
• Content collection for quote and quote review
• Project briefings
• Invoice checks
• Comms checks
• Follow up with partners
• Full QA control

Internal Development

• Assist with internal development-related tasks, including but not limited to:
• Development of landing page(s) and/or basic website(s).
• Development issues on marketing clients’ websites.

• Assist with technical website-related tasks, including but not limited to:
• Updating of WordPress websites, plugins and themes.
• Transferring of websites.
• Help with hosting-related issues.
• Assist, if necessary, when websites should be taken live.
• Server clean up and maintenance
• General website bug fixes
• Spam prevention
• Plugin purchases and license setups
• Backend development assistance
• FTP and konsoleH / cPanel knowledge
• PHPMyadmin knowledge
• SSL knowledge
• Basic graphic design tasks
• Website knowledge:
• HTML
• PHP
• CSS
• jQuery
• CMS (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal etc.)
• eCommerce systems (WooCommerce, Shopify etc.)

Communication

• Ensure that relevant team members are kept up to date regarding the accomplishments, issues, and status of projects.
• Communicate directly with clients where necessary.
• By way of constant communication, make sure that relevant team members and partners are following the correct processes to ensure that websites are SEO friendly.
• Be in constant communication with Team Managers with regards to projects.
• Reporting and communicating with management to provide status reports, finance sheets, and additional admin tasks that may be required.

General

• Analyse and assign projects to the relevant partners. (Project Distribution)
• Assist with website / design quotes and estimates where necessary.
• Attend meetings with team members when necessary.
• Facilitate internal social media processes.
• Retainer partners time management and reporting.
• Ensure that work is on track, keeping with the schedule, and that deadlines are met.
• Intervene when necessary, to help resolve issues within the teams.
• Conduct regular website audits with the relevant DCMs.
• Identify website upsell opportunities.
• Keep updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
